Preparing Our Hearts to Celebrate His Birth

Aynor Methodist Youth helped prepare our church for Advent and lead worship for the Hanging of the Greens Service.  They read scripture and liturgy including the blessing of the Advent Wreath and Chrismon Tree, changed the altar paraments and placed chrismons on the tree.  It was a beautiful service and a great start to the season.

Upcoming Special Services

Sunday, December 7 at 6:30 pm, the Adult Chancel Choir will present their Annual Christmas Cantata.

Sunday, December 14 at 6:00 pm, AMC Kids & Youth will present, “How the Grinch Found Christ in Christmas". Based on the original story by Dr. Seuss and adapted as a religious Christmas program by Valerie Lynch. 

Sunday, Decmeber 24 at 4:00 pm, we will have a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service with Holy Communion.
