Certified Lay Ministry: Congratulations to Catherine Johnson (pictured 2nd from the left) for completing a fourth course "Congregational Care & Ethics in the Certified Lay Minister program.  She received a certificate on Saturday, April 18.  Certified Lay Ministry is open to all who want to learn more about the Lord.  For more information on the program follow this link.  Lay Ministers Collective — GMCSC

Vacation Bible School:  Save the date for VBS, July 5 through the 9th.  Our theme this year is "Town of Peace",  based on Romans 14:19, "Let us therfore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification."  Age-appropriate Bible lessons for kids (K-5 and up), youth and adults.  Participants will explore what it means to be peacemakers in their homes, schools, and community. Each group will work together to construct their own piece of the Town of Peace — one brick (Lego) at a time. Follow this link to our VBS website for more details. https://amcvbs.org/

Speaking of VBS we need donations of gently used legos.  Please bring donations to church no later than May 31.  

Faith Focused Foundational Athletics Camp:  Jeff Goff and his friend, Coach Noah Beaudrie are running a faith focused morning athletic camp for young athletes ages 7 to 14. Participants will learn natural athletic foundational skills that will help them excel regardless of the sport they choose. Training will draw on athletic skills from the Weck Method, GOATA, and Landmine University to help young athletes learn how to flow on the field.
